What to expect when you create a pet, bring it into Chrome and let it keep you company.
What is a browser pet?
A browser pet is a small animated companion that appears on supported webpages in Chrome. PawPlusMe creates yours from a pet photo, with cursor watching, following, sleeping and input-box peeking.
How do I install PawPlusMe?
Use desktop Chrome, download and unzip the extension, then choose “Load unpacked” in chrome://extensions with Developer mode enabled. Return to the site in the same Chrome profile to pick up your pet. Follow the full installation steps.
Where can my pet appear?
It appears on supported ordinary webpages in desktop Chrome. Chrome’s internal pages, the Chrome Web Store and some protected pages or embedded inputs restrict extensions. The homepage also offers a pet you can try before installing.
Does Paw read what I type?
No. Input-box peeking uses focus and input events and the box’s position, without reading the text you enter. Your pet does not understand or reply to your writing. Read the privacy policy for photo processing and local storage details.
Will it look exactly like my pet?
AI generates poses from your photo and fills in details that are not visible. Markings, proportions and motion may differ, and an exact match is not guaranteed. Use a clear photo and check the actual preview.
How does the break reminder work?
Start a 25-minute timer. Your pet stays away while you focus, then returns to make mischief. Hold the pet and release it to choose “In 25 minutes”, “In 50 minutes”, or “No more today”. You choose the next visit; it does not start an automatic 25/5 work-and-break cycle.
Can I stop the pet or the reminders?
Use the pet controls to hide it or turn off the timer. After catching it during mischief, “No more today” stops further visits until the next day. The pet’s temporary page effects clear when you catch it.
Does it still work when I close this website?
Once brought into the extension, your pet works locally after you close this site. Its saved assets play from the extension; creating a new pet or downloading it again requires a connection.
How do I recover a pet on another computer or after reinstalling?
Keep your original order recovery link. Open it in Chrome on the other computer or after reinstalling, then follow the available pickup steps. Recovery links are private access links; do not share them publicly or pay again.
What if generation stops or the pet is missing?
Keep your original order ID and recovery link. Completed stages and progress are retained for checking. Refresh the order status, then contact support if it is still unresolved. Do not pay again. See the refund policy for the current terms.
